We want to support your activities

One of the four areas of our activity will be to support your ideas. Check how to work with us!

We are here to help you realise both smaller, local initiatives and to reach much further – beyond the borders of our city. We will help you financially, but also in other aspects, such as administrative, legal and promotional issues.

If you are just beginning your adventure with cultural (and other) projects, you can submit your idea for a project to the Microgrants – a programme in which we help less experienced local activists to realise ideas for initiatives aimed at the inhabitants of Wrocław districs and to carry them out together.

This year, together with the Umbrella Foundation, we are preparing three calls for proposals: in March, May and September and we can’t wait for your new projects.

We will also continue to help publishers as part of the Wrocław Publishing Programme, which aims to financially support the publication of books and magazines about Wrocław and those created by Wrocław residents whose activities do not fall within the commercial publishing market. Over the last few years more than 50 books and more than 40 issues of magazines have received support and you can believe us – this is not the end yet.

Or perhaps you have already been active in culture field for some time and feel that it is time to gain experience outside Poland? With you in mind, we will be running the Culture of Mobility programme, thanks to which you can obtain funding for your dream trip abroad. A research journey, travel to a conference, a residency, or a study visit to a studio on the other side of the world? Where you go and for what purpose is up to you – we will provide you with financial support.

Our support will also go the other way – by continuing the AIR Wro artistic residency programme we will not only help Wrocław artists to present themselves outside Poland, but we will also invite artists from abroad to Wrocław. not only to realise their artistic ideas here, but also to have the opportunity to get to know the local cultural tissue. Who knows, maybe in this way they will start a new cultural network of cooperation?
